The leading financial city and the largest in East Africa, Dar es Salaam is now home of a new modern and reliable transportation brand – Volo.
The city is the leading arrival and departure point for most tourists who visit national parks for safaris and the islands of Zanzibar but also a city with a big expat community.
They all have the same problem: unsafe transportation services and a poor presence of reliable international brands when they need to get around the city or to rent a car.
Our friends from Volo needed a flawless brand image in order to convince their potential clients they are trustworthy and they offer professional services.
That’s where our 3Faces came into the picture.
Brand strategy. Together with Volo, our team established a strategy aligned with their business goals and the brand audience needs. After a comprehensive market and audience’s research we found that Volo’s potential clients need reliable, safe and easy solutions when they have to get around Dar es Salaam.
We came up with a brand positioning statement that answers to the brand audience’s desires and differentiates the brand from the competition: Enjoy a hustle-free experience!
Further we refined the brand positioning statement in a clear & memorable brand promise, a promise easy to keep due to Volo’s premium services and car fleet : First-class rides.
Implementing the brand strategy
From visual and verbal identity, brand collaterals and promotional materials to the digital platform and the content within, we brought their brand personality forward to establish an experience that expresses their brand essence:
Delivering the digital experience
With the brand audience desires at the core of the user experience, we brought the website to life with a rich content, doubled by a thorough search engine optimisation (SEO) and a simple & delightful user interface design.
In order to increase the number of Facebook page followers we set up a campaign which delivered the brand message to a high number of users –150.000 impressions. The campaign ended with more then 4500 page likes. We also manage the Facebook page, by creating daily content, answering to their followers’ questions and sometimes even by managing their ride bookings in order to keep Volo’s audience involved.
